This has been such a gut punch. As we have sat on this for the last 24 hours, we have reflected on how much he & 1320 have done for us along our journey: encouragement, promotion, certain magnetic objects placed secretly on the car… or just a smile or excitement over an accomplishment. It is not lost on us that these fond memories we have are multiplied exponentially across the drag racing community. We’ve been torn on even making a post, but HE deserves it. Kyle deserves to be honored. We are grateful for all he has helped us accomplish and are extremely saddened that his journey ends here. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, 1320 family & the community of racers that have lost such a cornerstone of the racing community. Rest in peace, Kyle.
We are extremely saddened to share that Kyle Loftis, the founder of 1320video, passed away last night. We are in a state of shock.
Kyle’s passion for motorsports inspired millions of people around the world and we will never forget what he has done to grow our beloved sport. Kyle was a beam of light at every gathering… his enthusiasm, kindness, and creativeness was contagious.
Let us pray that Kyle is in a better place.
