Almost 8” of rain this week not counting today. These guys are the unsung heroes of the golf course. In before sunrise cleaning up debris and washed out mulch. Repairing bunkers that had torrential rains flooding through.
Our early tee times always want to get out early, but sometimes we have to give these guys the opportunity to do their jobs to get the course ready for play.
Shout out to maintenance crews everywhere, but especially the best at Chestatee! Thank you for all you do!

We had a large volume of rain 🌧️ again today.
So much so the tunnel to 6 & 7 is temporarily flooded. It should be fine for access tomorrow. But thankfully we have ole Chompers here to make sure no one gives into temptation to attempt driving through before then. 😉🐊 Thank you Jimmy Phipps for putting out caution tape and “locating” Chompers.

Our phone lines are still down. Please feel free to call my cell, GM Wendy Merry, at 678-542-7637 or book your tee time online directly on our website. We were hit by lightning Wednesday night. (Too bad Thor didn’t show up. That would have made the huge inconvenience somewhat worth it.)
