Action Pistol bays, Bullseye pistol range, a 200-yard and 100 yard Multi-purpose rifle ranges, Archery range, “plinking bays” and more. Safety is the number one priority at River Bend and members enjoy safe, first rate facilities whether sighting in their deer rifle or shooting steel plates with their favorite pistol. We even have flushing bathrooms on many of our ranges! Range Rules are available on the club website. River Bend hosts many monthly competitions and scheduled shooting events that are, in most cases open to the public. With a strong cadre of experienced Range Officers, many of whom are highly accomplished in their particular discipline, activities at River Bend are safe, well run events. Experience level varies from events designed for the beginner to state and regional championships. Most venues encourage new shooters and non-members, especially youth to participate; contact the Range Officer for the particular venue for more information. It’s not all about competition. River Bend hosts many events where participation, not score, is the primary goal. In September, River Bend hosts its Annual Youth Shoot where youngsters are given an opportunity to shoot a variety of fi****ms in a safe, fun environment!
