The 2026 season has begun. Was running comfortably in the top 10 when I was forced into the barriers avoiding a late dive into T9. Bent the steering column and set me back for the final. Ended up in P14 but was battling the whole race, just didn’t have the top end to catch back up to the front pack. Back to the shop for now and onto the next race in April.

Update on the Championship: Going into race 6 of 8 this weekend and currently sitting at P11 out of 30+ in the Championship. This is about the 1 year mark of when I started racing competitively and I have learned so much since then. A few close calls, plenty of mistakes, but progressing each and every race. My technical understanding of what makes the kart faster has improved so I can actually start making meaningful changes to the setup throughout the weekend. Looking forward to finishing this championship out strong and if I can end in the top 10, I will consider that a success.

Decided to do some hot laps around Baku to get ready for this weekend's Grand Prix. got to a 1:40.987 before I called it a night. For reference, LeClerc got pole with a 1.41.218 last year.

In honor of F1 being at SPA this weekend, decided to bring out the old rig and do some hot laps. quickest I got was 1:49.248, or only 3.13 seconds off Danny Rics FP2 time this morning. Not bad for being a few months out of F1 practice
