Elks Camp Grassick

Elks Camp Grassick Elk's Camp Grassick is a non-profit organization that is owned and operated by the Elks of ND. Everyone wants to go to summer camp!

Especially children and adults who are physically and/or mentally challenged or have other special needs. Nestled on the sunny south shore of Lake Isabel, Elks Camp Grassick is located five miles south of Dawson, mid-way between Bismarck and Jamestown on I-94. Lake Isabel is a sand bottom, spring-fed lake with sandy beaches and a large shallow area suitable for campers to do water games and swimming instruction. The rest of the camp covers acres of gently sloping hills, trees and shrubs.

To the 2026 Staff, thank you more than words can express for another season in the books at Elks Camp Grassick.

We gave 134 campers each their own very special camping experience, and we hope each of you had a summer you’ll always remember.

As you adjust back to the “real world,” remember: take the patience with you. Take the resilience. Take the courage to try something uncomfortable. Take the willingness to laugh when things go wrong. Take the habit of looking out for the person beside you. Take the ability to make someone feel seen, welcomed, and safe.

And take the magic with you. 🪄The magic that we created.
