The Dawson Springs BBQ is more than an event — it’s a tradition that brings our community together year after year.

Hosted by the Dawson Springs Community Center, the Annual BBQ serves as our largest fundraiser and helps provide the resources needed to maintain and operate this important community space.

From the BBQ Luncheon and Street Fair to the Car Show, Golf Tournament, and 5K, this celebration takes months of planning, countless volunteer hours, and the incredible support of our community partners.

🎆 Save the date — the 78th Annual Dawson Springs BBQ is coming July 24–25, 2026! 🎆

We’re excited to officially announce this year’s Dawson Springs BBQ weekend… and even more excited to share something extra special:

🇺🇸 Fireworks @ Dawson Springs BBQ! 🇺🇸

To celebrate America’s 250th birthday, this year’s BBQ will conclude Friday night with a fireworks show immediately following the raffle drawing in Veterans Park. Fireworks are not a typical part of our BBQ celebration, which makes this year especially memorable — and we can’t wait to celebrate with our community in a big way.

Along with fireworks, you can look forward to all your BBQ favorites:
