FIVE baseball seasons have came and went since the 2021 tornado which destroyed the Dawson Springs city park. That night stole the child hood memories that so many of our children will now grow up without. One thing that was not taken away was their HEART.

Since tee-ball, these boys have put in countless hours practicing in parking lots, the MPR, the high school gym, hundreds of trips to Princeton for practice at city county & Ratliff, and Riverside Park. They have taken many many losses throughout the years, some of them absolute gut wrenching blowouts. But they did it. They stuck together. They became a family!!!

HUGE SHOUTOUT to the 2026 best regular season record AND 10U baseball tournament CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

Good afternoon, DSYL fans! We're happy to announce that t-ball season is underway. Weather permitting, all teams should have their first practices this week. Games start the week of June 29, and we can't wait! You'll find the schedules ⬇️ for 4u (league for ages 3 & 4) and 6u (league for 5 & 6 year-olds) attached to this post. Due to the construction at the city park, all practices and games will take place at Riverside Park. Special thanks to the Riverside Park Commission and the Dawson Springs City Council for providing a space for our instructional leagues.

Our Red Raiders 12u softball team got started a little later than everyone else, but they wasted no time getting into the win column. After a tough 6-7 loss to the Lady Blues the Raiders finished the night with a 12-5 win over the same team. Congrats ladies! I know there are more wins in store for this talented bunch.

The Dawson Springs 10U Giants pulled away with another victory last night giving them an undefeated record so far of 4-0! Pitching was on point and the base running was impeccable!!!! Good job Giants!!!!

Tonight the 8u Tigers played a tough double header at city county park. After a tough loss to the Trash Pandas in extra innings in the first game these boys rallied back. Down 1 in the bottom of the 6th of game 2 against the Rangers they pulled off the final rally of the night putting up 2 runs and winning game 2. The Tigers improve to 4-2 after splitting tonight’s games. Amazing job boys! Keep it up!
