It’s IEA season!!
For those that are interested, you do not need your own horse and there are classes from beginner to advanced.
Riders participate in as little as three shows or as many as five. They compete and earn points as a team and individuals. Shows are typically weekends, September through the beginning of February with post season events the end of Feb through April.
You also do not need to ride at Arcadia to be on the team and will not be pressured to.
The Arcadia Stables Equestrian Team is one of the oldest in Michigan and has been extremely successful throughout the years. With regional and zone champion teams and riders, as well as National qualifiers and top 5 placings

Many of our team riders have gone on to be very successful in IHSA through their college years

Finally, also remember that IEA also offers adult classes for those riders that want to challenge themselves that are the age of 21 and older.

We run discounted weekly practices and have a great time.

No need to be a regular rider with us and no pressure to do so.

It's been a busy couple weeks for Arcadia riders!
Firstly the Arcadia Stables Equestrian Team competed at their last shows of the season
We had several kids qualify for Regionals at the Cedar Lodge show as well as qualifying the Upper school team for regionals
At Willowbrooke last weekend the team came out strong with 7s across the board, earning champion upper school team and qualifying several more individuals for regionals! Addison also got high point rider!

Please let me know so I can figure out a show schedule and practice days/times!

For the show on Saturday, schooling will start at 7am and the jumping portion of the show will start at 9am following course walk and draw.

Entries have been sent in for Willowbrooke. Looking forward to next weekend!
Don't forget about the Halloween party Saturday!
Looking forward, and after talking to a few parents, it looks like we will plan on attending the Sunday show at Stonegate in January. It's a holiday weekend and then those riders will only need to do 1 day at the show in Feb.
If you do not wish to attend the Stonegate show, you can still do both days at Willowbrooke in February.
