It was a great President's Day holiday weekend here at Timberline Mountain! Despite some light rain yesterday, our terrain is 100% open and expertly groomed. Snow showers are expected in the valley today, with heavier snowfall later this week.

Just keeps getting better and better. Heading to the end of the month. Should be coldddd with the arctic vortex forecast.

❄ Fresh snow alert! ❄ Timberline Mountain has received several inches of fresh snow over the past 24 hours, and it's still going strong! With as much as 6 inches of natural snow at the top of the mountain, in addition to new snowmaking and some excellent work by our grooming fleet, conditions here at Timberline Mountain are incredible.

Looks like another incredible weekend on in the beautiful Canaan Valley in West Virginia.

With a good week of snowmaking and some natural snowfall, it's going to be a beautiful MLK holiday weekend of skiing and snowboarding at Timberline Mountain!

While Timberline Mountain is not limiting capacity on the mountain, we do advise skiers and snowboarders that we have limited parking spaces. We recommend parties traveling together carpool to the lodge, or that non-participants drop off their parties in our drop off area in front of the lodge.

In observance of COVID-19, indoor seating will be limited. We ask that parties limit their time at indoor tables to 30 minutes or less. Additional outdoor seating will be available.

In efforts to enjoy a long and healthy winter season, face coverings are required while indoors and whenever physical distancing cannot be achieved. This includes while in lift lines, while taking a lesson, and while riding the lifts. Out of respect for all of our fellow snow-sports enthusiasts, we kindly ask you to adhere to our face-covering protocols and all other posted signage.

A GREAT week of skiing thank you owners and staff for resurrecting the BEST in the EAST ski slope. Perfect Timberline staff are for what they can do. There are few people with southeast US ski making knowledge. We are so blessed by the Perfect family. Thank you.

Missed the big snow today in Canaan Valley, but Timberline snow guns were going all day and night. Got our season passes half price yesterday thanks to being pass holders at Perfect North. Ready to make first tracks on Friday. See you there.

Great news. We will be prepping the house this week and hopefully catch first runs on Friday.

Timberline Mountain will be open for the season on Friday, December 18th!

After a wonderful preview weekend, Timberline Mountain will suspend operations from Monday, December 14th to Thursday, December 17th. While we still have several renovation projects to complete, we will reopen for the season on Friday, December 18th with limited terrain and limited amenities. We expect some great snowmaking weather in the upcoming week, with some natural snowfall as well.

The Timberline Mountain ticket office will be open Monday through Thursday for season pass pickup from 9 am to 5 pm. Visit Timberlinemountain.com for more information.
