✨ OWNER & DIRECTOR SPOTLIGHT — MRS. KRYSTAL✨
From a 4-year-old girl dancing in Long Island, NY, to the founder and director of Bravo Dance Academy — Mrs. Krystal’s love for dance has been a lifelong journey. 🤍
Mrs. Krystal began teaching at just 15 years old and has spent years growing as a dancer, educator, choreographer, and mentor. She has trained and competed in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and more, performing across the country and beyond — from Walt Disney World and Hershey Park to Las Vegas.
After moving to Charlotte in 2005, Mrs. Krystal discovered Carolina s**g, opening the door to countless new opportunities to learn, teach, perform, and compete. She became the 2014 Non-Pro Champion and has had the opportunity to dance along the East Coast, in California, Australia, and even on Good Morning America!
Mrs. Krystal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Education with a minor in Business Administration and has worked as a Dance Educator with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, while continuing to teach in the studio world.
In 2018, Mrs. Krystal turned a lifelong dream into reality and opened Bravo Dance Academy. What started as a dream has grown into a place where dancers of all ages can feel welcomed, inspired, challenged, and most importantly, love to dance!
Her passion for dance and dedication to her students are at the heart of everything we do at BDA. We are so lucky to have Mrs. Krystal leading the way into Season 9! 💗
