Oh my gosh—what a weekend!! ✨🤍
Our three girls travelled all the way to Virginia and are coming home with lots of first, second and third-place awards! We couldn’t be prouder of each of them and everything they achieved.
Our two Primary dancers stepped onto that big stage and competed brand-new dances! Dancing on those boards and over those big swords is such a huge accomplishment—and our superstar Keilani even took home FIRST PLACE! 🥇 What an incredible achievement!
A huge shout-out to our Dance Captain, Miss Mia Ross, who was awarded Most Promising Novice Dancer and earned her very first Novice stamp! 🏆
For those unfamiliar with Highland dancing, a dancer must collect six stamps—earned by placing in the top three—before progressing to the next category. Earning that first stamp is such an exciting milestone!
Mia, we are incredibly proud of you. Your hard work, dedication and the countless hours you spend in the studio—both attending your own classes and helping our younger students—never go unnoticed. You are such a joy to teach and a wonderful role model for our younger dancers.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to be there in Virginia this weekend, as we were incredibly busy back home with our Musical Theatre students, who are absolutely smashing their Matilda Jr. rehearsals, and our competition team, who are working hard on a huge production number for the 2027 season!
The students of Caledonia Performing Arts are absolutely thriving right now, and we truly could not be prouder! ✨🏴🤍
