Other Campus Activities: Aside from running Iām involved a little bit with the campus ministry and plenty of intramural sports throughout the years here at SAU.

Favorite Workout: Anything with mile and 800 pace in it
Favorite SAUTF Memory: My favorite memory was at indoor nationals this year when our 4x8 team made the finals and ran the 4th fastest (3rd at the time) NAIA indoor time in history. It was awesome knowing that all of us would get our first all-American honors that we worked so hard and came up just short last year.
Favorite Team Tradition: Full team bus rides to/from meets would probably be my favorite tradition. Itās nice to get to get to sit and talk by other people that arenāt just in the group you train with from time to time.
Most Influential Faculty or Staff Member: Dr. Lutz who is one of my engineering professors. His classes have challenged me to the point where I feel like I always get something out of when he teaches.
Best Advice for Future Teams and BEES: My advice to future Bees would be to always put in the work in whatever you do. This goes for both athletics and academics. Iāve personally seen the benefits of how hard work can improve your performance on the track. I didnāt come in as one of the fastest guys, but I always desired to be the best I could and put every ounce of energy I had into trying to make that happen. I believe a lot is possible if you try and stack as many days of improvement as you can together.
Enjoy your time here at SAU. It goes by fast, I canāt believe that Iām gonna be graduating here soon to be honest. I have been so blessed to pass through here and itās been an amazing 4 years in the engineering and XCTF programs. Thank you to everyone who has helped me get to where I am today and as always: GO BEES!
