Barre563 is a fitness studio offering group barre and indoor cycling classes in Davenport, Iowa. Barre classes combined elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga.

Barre563 is the first and only fitness studio in the Quad Cities dedicated to the Barre Amped technique. Participates rely mainly upon one's bodyweight for resistance, performing moves that target specific muscle groups, your core, and balance. Barre workouts are designed to help an individual achieve a “dancer’s body” — strong, sleek and streamlined.

After sharing the announcement on September 30th that we would be closing the studio, so many of you came to me with your heartfelt reactions — “What am I going to do?” “I’m so upset.” “Where are we going to go?” “I can’t lose this community.”

Your words meant everything. I asked you to think through ideas and possibilities, and you showed up with passion, creativity, and determination. You helped make the impossible happen.

Because of all of you, I’m thrilled to share that we will officially have a new location effective January 1st… and we’re keeping the studio open! Even better — our new space is close by, just a few blocks away on 40th Avenue in Bettendorf, allowing us to continue growing this community right here in the neighborhood we love.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving and Small Business Saturday, I want to say how truly grateful I am for this community — for your support, your belief, and the heart you bring into this space. This season of gratitude feels especially meaningful as we step into this new chapter together.

Thank you for believing in this studio, in each other, and in what we’ve built. This next chapter is happening because of YOU. ❤️✨

After 12 incredible years, I’ve made the very difficult decision to close Barre563.

This business has been so much more than a fitness studio—it’s been a family. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many amazing people, sharing in your stories, and watching this community grow. I’ve seen you cheer for one another’s successes, lift each other up in tough times, and create a space that is safe, supportive, and full of joy. Being a part of that has been truly inspiring.

I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for this community’s loyalty and trust. You have supported Barre563 in ways I will never forget, and together we’ve built 12 years of strength, memories, and friendships that I will cherish forever.

Our doors will officially close at the end of December. For those with class packages, you’ll have the next three months to use them. We’re also offering a special on 5- and 10-class packages for anyone who wants to spend as much time in the studio as possible before we say goodbye. You can find the link below.

I’ve been over here acting like 10 years isn’t a big deal, but it really kind of is. Because the last few years of COVID and its remnants have made owning a business really flipping HARD. And when owning a small business is already interesting. Did you know that according to my quick little google search, 50% of business fail within 5 years? So I guess I will give myself a minute to celebrate.

We definitely didn’t do this with out you all. The amazing clients that walk through our doors every day, you have made these last 10 years so special. Most days it feels like I am teaching workouts with friends and family and for that I am so incredibly grateful.

To the instructors that are just as much the glue that keeps Barre563 going, I don’t know what we or I would do without you. You all deserve a big hand for helping us make it to 10!

To one really important lady who stops everything she’s doing to help when I ask her to. The one who supported me when I told her about this Crazy Barre idea I had. The one who taught me those really Long Arm Sequences 😜. You call her Jayne, but I am lucky to call her mom and she definitely is the heart and soul of barre563. I know I wouldn’t have made it 10 years without her!

So CHEERS to MANY more Years!!! Thank you for making Barre563 a dream come true. ✨🥂
