We are excited to announce that, beginning with the 2026–27 school year and beyond, we will proudly compete as one combined swim team. All Davenport Community Schools will be competing together while being housed at the Central Natatorium. Please follow the DCSD Swim Team page for all updates.

We're excited to kick off the 2026 girls swim season this August and can't wait to cheer on our student-athletes as they train, compete, and represent Davenport with pride.

Drew was able to cut time again in his 500. Ending his season with a new PR!

The entire season was a resounding success, marked by numerous personal bests and big anticipation for next year's season. Coach Zinn and I couldn't be prouder of the spectacular way the season concluded for the team. Thank for following along this season. Please continue to promote this great sport of swimming!

A Huge Congratulations to Drew Leibold who qualified for state yesterday in both the 200 and 500 free. Drew placed 5th with a 1:51.08 in the 200 and a 4:57.85 for 2nd place in the 500! Drew will compete Friday night in Iowa City!

It was a great day for the Falcons at our district swim meet in Dubuque. We had massive time cuts throughout the meet! We had them in the 50, 100, 200, and 500 free! We had some in the 100 breast and 100 back. We also had them in the 200 and 400 relay!! It was some great racing by everyone. Be on the lookout for next year. We might have some more exciting news coming soon!👀

Another great hot protein meal post workout on the coldest day in years! Can’t beat Chik-Fil-A sandwiches, plenty of sides, and protein drinks w/snacks thanks to The Diekema and Quinn family! Big Pig award goes to Jaydon having eaten three sandwiches and check out how smooth a team captain looks with his beef stick! One more day before Taper Week begins and thanks so much everyone for the best HellWeek we’ve ever had! Tomorrow the boys get to sign the wall!

We would like to thank Blue Grass Elementary for making it to our meet last night. They brought energy to the meet and even got to get in the pool afterwards to swim with the team!

Sadly, our season is winding down. JV Invite will be next Saturday and then some of our squad will be competing at districts with the chance to make it to state!

Day 3 of HellWeek and a new tradition of burgers and protein Mac & Cheese has been born thanks to the Mead family. After their last 2-A-Day workout of the week the boys powered up for their meet tomorrow Cowboy Jaxson wins the Big Pig Award for his two double decker burgers with a gallon of Mac/Cheese and Jaydon created a new food group with his Mac/Cheese Burger. 2 more days of HellWeek and the boys are kickin’ it! Please share these messages out as we are always in a constant state of recruiting…”if you feed them, they will come” is a true statement for teenage boys.
