Davenport North Boys Soccer

Today some of the North Soccer coaches were able to play in the CCKMA (Cancer Can Kiss My A**) golf outing today. This year we presented this wonderful charity, that gives all proceeds to the University of Iowa Health Cares Gynecologic Oncology Reasearch Lab, with a donation from our Life is Bigger Than Sports event. We are giving donations this year to CCKMA and Iowa Dance Marathon... thank you to everyone that helped make this donation to two incredible charities possible! It feels so good to help continue McKenzie's love for helping others that are fighting incredibly difficult fights. Thank you so much to all the teams and the Wildcat family for making this possible... (and two of our coaches were in the group that won the outing!)

Coach Gamble will appear on KWQC TV 6 sports as an "Expert" on the World Cup being in the United States. (stop laughing! And yes, I told them I was absolutely no expert, but love representing North in a positive way any time I can!) It will air at 10 tonight. Coach Franco (Bettendorf) also will appear with me. (Much more of the expert on international futbol!)

Well... that's not how we wanted this magical run to end. But your Wildcats never quit and showed such pride for the Wildcat family!

We will have a celebration on the field on Wednesday at 7pm to present the the school with the trophy and to sign the autograph soccer balls.

I could not be prouder to coach these boys...ahem... young men! The spirit, the drive, the love of the game... the Family! Thank you gentlemen.

Thank you families for letting us coach your boys...thank you wildcat community!
