🎓💜 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: NADIA DOLAND 💜🎓

Before we get to know a little more about Nadia, we have to celebrate that she was the 2026 recipient of the Connie Bracey Inspiring Dancer Award! 💜✨ An honor that makes her senior year at Belle even more special.

💜 What is your favorite thing about dance and dancing at Belle?
“I love the community we have and how much it feels like a family. I also just love how dance makes me feel. I’m happiest when I’m dancing.”

✨ Favorite Belle Dance:
“She Used to Be Mine” — Black Ballet, 2025
“I loved this dance so much, especially the love and support we all had for each other as a group.”

🎓 What’s next?
“After high school, I plan to attend Scott Community College to get my associate degree in business. After that, I want to continue on and get my bachelor’s degree in music business.”

We’re so excited to celebrate Nadia and can’t wait to see where her love of music takes her next! 💜✨

🎉💜 Guess whose birthday it is?! 💜🎉

Before she was an owner of Belle Academy of Dance, she was this adorable little Belle dancer! 🩰🥹

Melinda has gone from growing up in the studio to helping lead it, bringing so much joy, laughter, and love to every class she teaches. She’s not only a teacher and mentor to our dancers, but someone they can count on as a friend.

Please help us wish Melinda the HAPPIEST of birthdays! 🎂💜

This year, we’re doing something special at Belle Academy of Dance! Each month, we’ll be celebrating one of our amazing seniors and sharing a little about their dance journey, favorite memories, and what’s next after graduation.

We’re excited to kick off our Senior Spotlight with Sarah Baldry! ✨

💜 What is your favorite thing about dance and dancing at Belle?
“I love the friendships I have built through Belle and the fact that it’s a ‘home away from home’ where I can express myself and feel calm.”

The Bravery of Amelia Earhart — Modern, 2025
Sarah loved the choreography and costume, the friendships she made, and getting the opportunity to try new moves.

🎓 What’s next?
Sarah plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa to pursue a degree in education.
