Congratulations to the Fire Lightning girls for a great Fall 2014 season! It was a great finish to the season over the last few weeks and I am really looking forward to the Spring 2015 season!

VERY proud of all of the girls this weekend! They played 4 GREAT games and never gave up. Allowing just 3 goals all weekend (including only 1 to the top ranked U11 team in Iowa) is an amazing accomplishment! While I could definitely sense the disappointment right after the last game, I really hope they all went home proud of themselves.

What a difference a day makes! I am very proud of the girls for coming back after a "Saturday to Forget" to put together a solid game against a ranked U12 team and then battling back from a 2-0 deficit to take the game into overtime against a very good Bettendorf team. 130 minutes of soccer over 2 games and the girls looked like they could have gone 30 more minutes!
