Just weeks before the ribbon cutting at a new soccer complex at Governors State University (GovState), the Athletics Department welcomes Jose “Tony” Gonzalez as the new Head Men’s Soccer Coach.
Before coming to GovState, Gonzalez (pictured in the center) was the head soccer coach for the men’s and women’s teams at South Suburban College (SSC) in South Holland, Illinois. There, he worked with the men’s team for 25 seasons and the women’s team for nine years.
