For those so opposed to Sunday hunting due to it ruining the piece I have 2 counter arguments.
1 not a single dime comes from the general fund for game lands. It is 100% paid through our ever increasing license fees. Hunters pay for the land. We pay for acquisition of new land and maintenance there of. The general public is allowed to use the land whenever they want for biking, hiking, and nature. I am glad to support that. 2. We are only discussing 2 Sundays that would be "busy". That is the first and second Sunday in December.

I would say if we want to dictate no Sunday hunting all users of the game lands should be required to buy a usage permit. That would effectively make them a stake holder in the decision making process.

So what the one guy is saying: We have something that encourages new hunters, now lets fix what is not broken. That is why there are 25% less hunters now then when I was a child.

Motion to consider a formal proposal fails, but discussion likely ignited nonetheless.
