I recently watched on YouTube the Nero Show.

Talking about wheels disintegrated due to non-captive spokes.

The wheel brand in question is Cadex "made" (I know who makes it) a Giant wheel brand. There are other brands that use the same type of hub and the way they secure the spokes to the hub.

I agree with peak torque an engineer that has a YouTube channel speaking about this problem and the safety of these wheels.

Scorpion bike wheels. Does offer a wheel set with carbon spokes that are 0.9 mm thick and 5 mm deep for improved aero performance.

Our hubs are a fully captive Spoke system with T head to keep the spokes from twisting.

Our hubs are at DT Swiss 180 quality level and with better quality control then some DT. Hubs.

We also use Sapim spokes from Belgium and Alpina spokes from Italy

Our road rims are clincher, hooked tubeless ready built with top quality Toray T1000 carbon fiber compared to t700 or t800 A less expensive carbon found in most high-end Wheels out there.
