Where do I even start? 🤔❤️

For those who have followed the journey, you know some of the story. But for those who don’t, here’s a little look back.

About 4½ years ago, Trader Jan's Archery Shop, along with the other businesses in the building, was forced to leave when the property was sold and turned into a storage facility.

At the time, I wasn’t sure exactly what the future held for Trader Jan’s. Thankfully, the owners of MILUS/High Hill Farm opened their doors to me and generously allowed me to set up on a piece of their property for a while. I will always be grateful for their kindness and for giving me a place to keep the dream alive. ❤️

But deep down, I always wanted to bring Trader Jan’s back to where it all started.

And today, that dream is complete. 🥹🏹

Today marks a very special milestone. The final puzzle piece was put into place with the installation of a brand-new entrance to the shop.

But it means so much more than just a new door.

It means coming home.

It means bringing Trader Jan’s Archery Pro-Shop back to its roots, back to where the journey began in 1990.

Through 36 years, there have been plenty of memories, challenges, changes, and people who have helped make Trader Jan’s what it is today. I’ve watched generations of customers walk through those doors, and some who started as customers have become friends and family.

Today marks the beginning of our 36th year in business, and I couldn't be more grateful. ❤️

Joe Wood, Woods Construction and Excavation — thank you for the incredible job transforming what was once a garage door into the beautiful new entrance to the shop. You brought the final piece of the vision to life.

Most importantly, thank you to every single person who has supported Trader Jan’s over the past 36 years. Whether you’ve been with us since 1990 or walked through our doors for the first time yesterday, you have played a part in this journey.

There have been times when I wondered what the future of Trader Jan’s would look like.

Today, I can look around and say…

We’re home. ❤️

Here’s to the memories behind us, the memories still to be made, and hopefully many more years of doing what I love.

36 years and counting… 🏹❤️
