Unfortunately the ground is holding too much and we cannot drag. So sorry guys! We held out hope but Mother Nature has other plans for us.

If you are here and would like a Sunday refund, please come see me at the office. If you would like to roll your entry to September, please comment below “roll” and I will get your entry fees transferred.

🟡SUNDAY UPDATE - RAIN DELAY🟡

Unfortunately the ground is holding water a little more than we anticipated. We are going to do a 2 hour delay and start at 11am. The rain is SUPPOSED to let up by then.

Sorry guys! We didn’t anticipate THIS much rain so fast.

Good morning!

We are watching the weather closely. We have reports of thunder and lightening down the valley.

In the event that a little storm comes over us during our show, we will pause for safety and resume when it passes. There may be a short delay in the start, storm dependent. We will be sure to let everyone know!

📣 Friendly Reminder to All Contestants & Spectators

As we prepare for another great playday, we’d like to take a moment to remind everyone that the safety and well-being of both our horses and our participants is our top priority.

We understand that horses are athletes, and there are times when correction is necessary. However, excessive correction or handling of a horse will not be tolerated. This includes excessive whipping, excessive spurring, excessively striking the animal or any behavior that could be considered abusive.

Please remember that all participants are expected to follow the DHOA Playday Rules & Code of Conduct. Unsportsmanlike behavior, disrespect toward others, excessive profanity or actions that compromise the welfare of a horse may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from the grounds.

Our goal is to provide a fun, family-friendly environment where good horsemanship, sportsmanship, and respect are demonstrated both in and out of the arena.

Thank you for helping us make the Darrington Playday Series a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We appreciate each of you and look forward to another great event!
