COURTS CLOSED 08/18 at 3pm

Our vendor for the pickleball court repair project will perform inspections and review surface issues today, August 18th. Courts will be closed at 3p today and tentatively remain closed until inspections are complete.

UPDATE TO PICKLEBALL COURTS RESERVATIONS PER Scott Township Recreation Booster Club

Scott Township Pickleball courts are for public use and free to play using the Paddle Rack system located on the Southeast corner of the court space. The Paddle Rack system manages court rotation during open play on a first-come, first-served basis. Players place their paddles in the next open rack space to hold their spot in line. When a court opens, the first four paddles in the rack rotate onto the court. Players should play one game to 11 points then leave the court to restack your paddle(s) in the next rack space available. Two courts will always remain open play unless otherwise designated by our Trustee; more than two courts may be available for open play at any given time depending on confirmed reservations.

Courts may be reserved for $5.00 cash per player for 2 hours of play by contacting Scott Township Recreation Booster Club President, Renee Stanton, at 812-204-3720 or [email protected] based on availability. Players can check the status of reservations and see details about events and clinics using the free Team Reach app on a mobile device - use the group code pickleball2017 for Scott Township Pickleball Courts specifically. Currently, the STRBC does not accept reservations on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 7a-11a.

We know you are SO ready to get out on the fields and courts - so are we! This year our amazing Scott Township Recreation Booster Club is taking the baton for recreational baseball, softball, tee ball, and pickleball and they have some really great plans in the works!

First on that list is opening baseball, softball, and tee ball registration for the spring season. Please head over to their page for updates [we will post their updates here as well] and feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any questions.

🛑🚧RESTROOMS CLOSED🚧🛑

Unfortunately our restrooms at the ball park will be closed until further inspection after the frigid temperatures have caused freezing in the confines of the Clubhouse.

We will post updates as we have them. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We are aware of the issue with the lights, but it appears that someone has attempted to make unauthorized repairs, which has complicated the matter. We will provide an update once a solution for the repairs has been determined.
