Last night was our first Wednesday evening mentor sail. The wind died on us as soon as we got past the green flasher but we had a chance to connect, learn how to rig the Storm 18 and get out on the water! Next time we need to remember to photograph rowing back in lol!

AND we’re baaack!!!!!!! Last night WSP hosted Women on the Water - WOW East clubs for our annual Sail & Supper which happened to be our first sailing event of the season.

We sailed a fun variety of boats from the brand new Storm 18s to Ideals, Sonars, a J99 and J109 and got so lucky with a great breeze, sunset and guests.

Thank you to all who joined us and to those behind the scenes who worked together to organize such a wonderful start to the season.

Last night we capped off our 26th season with our End-Of-Season Party, celebrated our Perpetual Award Recipents and Andrea’s birthday!

WSP always finds something to do on the water, with or without wind! This past Wednesday we practiced rigging spinnakers when the wind wouldn’t cooperate and then on Thursday we had a fabulous evening on the J109!

Summer temps are here but that didn’t prevent us from hosting a fabulous evening for the Women on the Water - WOW east chapters! Our fleet for the event consisted of Ideal 18s, Sonars, a J/109 and J/99 and we found wind just off Long Neck Point. Then we wrapped up the evening with a trivia organized by our WOW rep Lorraine titled “Impressions of the Sea” featuring nautical inspired paintings.

Too much fun for a Monday!
