Got Hip Impingement (that sensation of the joint preventing you from full range of motion)?
Miss Katie, feels this Impingement when she pulls her thigh close toward her chest.
This technique may optimize alignment and mobility of the joint, thereby decreasing excessive forces on irritable or weakened tissues. It may also identify specific movement patterns that may be causing injury.

Saturday morning team training:
After warmups, our plyos and movement skills had an absolute speed focus (perfect for recreational runners, athletes who may need to run more than 15 steps i.e. soccer players, or those looking for 30 minutes of fun "cardio”).
After 30 minutes, we are warmed up and prepared for strength training.
It’s a lot of fun for me to see everyone moving better, running better and getting stronger session over session!

1-arm suitcase KB Deadlift
This exercise is excellent for those with a weaker side and/or in my case, a leg length discrepancy. As a result of my left leg being shorter, I tend to drive more from my right side. This movement forces me to drive harder from the loaded side.

How to do it:
-Line up two kettlebells of equal weight next to your lateral malleolus (the bony protrusion on the outside of your ankle).
-Grab them both as if you are going to lift both of them simultaneously. However, release your grip on one of them. Keeping your shoulders and hips square as you deadlift just one of the bells.
-Lower the bell to its original starting position.
-Grab both bells to ensure proper alignment before releasing the other bell before the lift.

Cues:
-Keep your chin down and maintain a neutral spine throughout the movement.
-Stay as square as possible so that you do not lean or rotate.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this exercise
