Getting outside the comfort zone isn’t just for our kids. Parents pursuit of what makes you joyful. Matters!! So get out there and make something. Art, yoga, hobbies, gardening, athletics, dancing, fishing and sports. Our kids and teens are watching us. This is my first watercolor of a face. Anxiety left me waiting. Until I was ready. Nope. Dive in. My beloved Angus. Imperfect. Showing up anyway. Kids learn by what we do.

Thank you to a dear client who saw this and immediately thought to send it to me. It is an honor to guide and support parents of children with disabilities. The real story of the Goddess Nemesis suits me and my vocation - she holds the truth in highest regard and those who violate it - are swiftly held accountable. My sister used to say my wrath - was like a verbal howitzer. Nemesis embodies divine retribution and she is a restorer of balance. Her name means “to distribute fairly” or “to give what is due”. Let the work to ensure kids receive an equitable education. Begin.
