After all the years I have been racing, I finally got the chance to line up against Harry Crane, “The Macho Man” in the final round at Centerville last night.
It was not a pretty pass for either of us, but Coldiron Pro Mod Racing came out on top.

After a long 3 years with new car we’ve finally have gotten somewhat of a handle on it. After 5 races this year we have gotten 2 wins. Want to say thank you to my pit crew for all your hard work and hanging in there with me. A special thank you to my wife Fronda for putting up with everyone and feeding all of us. And I can’t leave Bob aka “Fat Boy” out. He’s always there when I need help and yes he does keep everyone lined out.

Finally after a lot of hard work and late hours we got a win out of the new car. It was not a pretty one but as force would say a win is a win. Would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped me with this car from hell and has not let it get the best of me. Also thanks to Wayne and his team for having a great track.

It has been a very aggravating year and a half with the new car. But everything will come to an end weather it's good or bad. With health issues earlier this year I was so disgusted with the car I didn't want to look at it much less work on it. A very good friend of mine Doug kelp asking when are we gonna put the car back together. So two weeks ago we started on it and got it together with help from family and friends. So last Saturday afternoon we carried it to centerville to test. Same stinking problem. So I loaded car back in trailer and carried back to shop. After a very quiet ride home. Sunday I unloaded the car. After talking to Darrell my mind got to thinking what have we not touched on the car. So Tuesday night Tom stayed late and Darrell came over and we FOUND it !!!! The bad part of the whole thing is that the problem didn't come with the new car it came from the black car that I drove after the Memphis crash. I'm going to try very hard to get problem taken care of so we can make local races by the end of this year.

NEWS FLASH- FAN UPDATE!!!!!!

For those of you that have been around racing for any length of time, know that most racers have names for his or her car. It can be anything from Crowmod to Street Beast to yes, the one and only Red Headed Demon. You'll never know what people will come up with. With all of that being said, I was talking to a friend and a long time racer the other day. He ask me what are you going to name the new car? Well I haven't given it any though but with everything that I've been through just to get the new car, he suggested to call it Misery. I laughed at first but when I got to thinking about it, I could cause Misery two ways. It already has for me, now it's time for the competition (I hope). Now with all that out of the way, I would like to say thank you to everyone at Holbrook Performance for all there hard work to get me back into a new race car.
This is for all the Razorback fans (Rodney). Couple of weeks ago when I was on my way home with the car, as we crossed the dividing line from Tennessee to Arkansas it was official Misery became a true Razorback. And for those who don't believe me, just look into her eyes or flippers on top of her motor. Yes she is now a part of WPS country and will always be whether she is in Mabelvale, Arkansas or Chattanooga Tennessee getting a tune up. I guess you could say that she "Volunteered" to be a "Razorback" (football fans you did get that last part I hope, I worked really hard on that one). I'm very proud of my new car and hope that you will come see me and my team along with Misery at a track near you. I'm glad to be back and hopefully it won't take long to get all the bugs worked out so it can be Misery for the competition.
I picked the car up this past week from getting it wrapped from my friends at Rolln Wrapz. They did a great job and I'm very proud of it. I'll be posting more pictures very soon.

FINNALLY!! Have got new car picked up and dropped off at Holbrook's race car hospital to get its very first transplant (motor),running gear (transmission) and brain box (all electronics). I know that Andy (aka skippy) will be working very desperately to get it done asap so that we can try to make some hits on it before the end of the year.

I am sorry to say that the Coldiron ProMod Racing team as well as Holbrook Performance Parts, will not be at Hunstville as planned this weekend. Unfortunately due to the weather we have had an excessive amount of work and was unable to meet the completion time to be able to race. Again we apologize for not being able to make this race. But, we are hoping for better days ahead so we can get back to the tracks. We appreciate all the support from the fans and the encouraging words after our crash in Memphis.
