A public meeting regarding the proposed Sheep Creek mine has been moved to the Ravalli County Fairgrounds Event Center in Hamilton to accommodate the anticipated interest from the community.

Update on Sheep Creek Mine

Hi Team
The commissioners moved the meeting to the Hamilton Fairgrounds to accommodate the number of people expected to attend. The meeting will be held at the same time, 1:30PM, Monday, Dec. 1. Please come at least 10 minutes early for photos.

They also gave the meeting a promising title: Discussion with possible decision: Letter of Opposition on Sheep Creek Mine

Strong local opposition will make it difficult or impossible for USCM to push this mine through. To show opposition we all need to show up. Please know this isn’t a rally or a political event. It is a community coming together to support the commissioners.

Our future as Guides and sportsman and our next generations depend on us fighting for Clean water in our River!!
