WFBA is coming to the Eastern Shore this Fall!! We have received many inquiries since posting tryouts for our Fall 2021 - 10U WFBA team.
Last Spring, prior to the outbreak of Covid-19, a group of kids from the Eastern Shore started playing travel ball for West Florida Baseball Academy in Pensacola. The parents were immediately impressed with the efficiency and effectiveness of their Baseball training program. They continued to train and play for WFBA through Fall 2020 and began to plan the launch of a WFBA Satellite team on the Eastern Shore.
This Fall, in coordination with The Baseball Academy, the 1st WFBA Satellite team will be formed on the Eastern Shore. So what does this mean? How is it different from other travel ball teams? Those are good questions....
1st it is important to understand that WFBA has a reputation for excellence nationally. They have numerous teams in various age groups that currently hold a top 10 ranking in the Country. Their brand of baseball is associated with excellence because of the kids they attract, the coaches they employ and the principles they train with.
Our 10U Eastern Shore team will train efficiently. The team members will receive 2 free local class training sessions and 1 local on the field team practice each week. In addition to the 2 classes and team practice, team members will be able to attend paid practices at the Academy in Pensacola as approved by the team coach. The team members will also have access to top level private instruction for pitching, catching or hitting from former Collegiate and Pro Baseball players. The team members will also be allowed to play on other WFBA teams as needed and/or requested and approved.
In short, this is a high level opportunity for those who want to take their game to the next level. With team members taking classes each week, practices will be catered to high level baseball training. At practices the team will be working on next level preparation and principles of baseball.
