That’s a wrap on our first ever beginner camp!! Couldn’t ask for much more in 3 days! In hindsight we will be capping the numbers next time but the demand for wrestling in the south is here!!! People know the life skills that wrestling will give their kids these days and that is the most important aspect of it all. We build strong, confident, resilient kids and then the wrestling comes with. So awesome that we had so many coaches to pour into these young boys and girls.

Beginner camp day 2!! Over 40 new wrestlers signed up for our camp. None of them were previously club members. Growing the sport 1 wrestler at a time. I know one thing for sure and it’s that wrestling will change at least 1 of their lives for the better! 1 more day for these young athletes before they start training for the next level!

Every year the club gets better at Freestyle and Greco! Just 3 years ago we did not do any freestyle and Greco and this year we had 16 athletes compete at state, multiple champs and Fargo qualifiers, tons of placers, and some new national duals team members! Lots more room to grow! Also special recognition to Cole Orcutt and Landen Reffner. Alabama is not taking a cadet national team this year but if they were, those two would have the starting spots!
