🎳 ON TONIGHT’S EPISODE OF KING OR QUEEN OF THE LANES… 👑
Sixteen awesome bowlers stepped onto the lanes—many of our favorite returning competitors, along with a couple of newcomers ready to join the action! From the opening frame to the final ball, it was a fantastic evening, to say the least!
As the fourth and final game of qualifying began, everyone thought they knew who the Final Four would be…
BUT WAIT—WHAT’S THAT SOUND?!
Was that glass shattering—or a wall coming down?! 💥
HERE COMES “STONE COLD” CHRIS HERRERA—WITH THE ATTITUDE OF STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN AND THE ENTRANCE OF THE KOOL-AID MAN!
OH YEAH! 🧱💥
Chris didn’t simply knock on the door of the cut—HE CRASHED STRAIGHT THROUGH IT WITH A PERFECT 300 GAME!
Twelve shots. Twelve strikes. Perfection with his tournament life on the line!
Living up to the “Stone Cold” name proudly displayed on his jersey, Chris delivered when the pressure was at its highest. That incredible 300 launched him into the third seed with a 1,005 series and completely shook up the stepladder!

Then it was time for the stepladder finals—and calling them nail-biters would be an understatement!
🎳 MATCH ONE: TODD SHIVELY VS. CHRIS HERRERA
Todd posted a strong 230, but Chris kept the momentum rolling! After firing his perfect 300 to make the cut, “Stone Cold” followed it with a 239 to defeat Todd and advance!

🎳 MATCH TWO: CHRIS HERRERA VS. BEAU SMITH
Chris was still locked in and delivered another outstanding 236—but Beau came ready for battle! Beau fired a huge 255 to stop Chris’s incredible run and earn his place in the championship match!

👑 CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: BEAU SMITH VS. JEFF STOWE
It all came down to Beau and our top qualifier, Jeff Stowe. The championship match had its share of twists, turns and opportunities for both bowlers.
After the final ball, Jeff summed up the seventh frame perfectly:
“In that seventh frame, it seemed like neither of us wanted it.” 😂
But when it was time to close the door, Jeff found a way to get it done! He defeated Beau 214–198 to claim the crown and become tonight’s…

We also have to give another huge congratulations to “Stone Cold” Chris Herrera on his incredible 300 in the fourth game of qualifying! Throwing perfection is impressive anytime—but doing it when you need every pin to fight your way into the stepladder is something truly special!
