Danville Area Community Center The DACC is a 501c3 non-profit community center! We offer programs for people of all ages! WELCOME! It is 26,000 sq. ft. with 6 lanes!

Everyone refers to the Danville Area Community Center as either the DACC or the “rec.” At our facility, we have something for everyone – babies, children, teens, and adults. The DACC houses the only indoor, heated pool in Montour County! Full-sized gymnasium, Racquetball Court, Strength and Cardio equipment, more than 40 land and water classes held each week by certified instructors! Indoor Cycli

ng, Zumba, HIIT, Silver Sneakers, water fitness PLUS MUCH MORE! We also offer programs designed especially for seniors. One of them, Silver Sneakers, is free to GHP Gold, High Mark Blue Cross, and HOP members! If you’re new to our community, you might want to check out our babysitting service (M/W/F 8a-12p) – or enroll your children in swim lessons or youth sports leagues like T-Ball or jr basketball. Our community center is not municipally supported, so we do charge a membership or daily guest fee. We offer a variety of payment options and proudly provide a sponsorship program for those who require assistance with membership fees. Most programs, such as swim classes, yoga, and youth basketball /T-ball league require an additional fee. We will gladly give you a tour, let you try a fitness class, take a dip in the pool, or show you how to use the fitness equipment. Please give us a call at 275-3001 and tell us you’re on your way so we can make sure someone is available to help you when you arrive.

👉Like what you see about the DACC??? 👀No surprise, the DACC has been awesome for 40 years— and the next 40 years are being built right now. 🎉💙✨

Our capital campaign is underway. Our renovations are underway. And our mission is moving forward every single day. 💪🚧

For four decades, the Danville Area Community Center has been a place where kids learn and grow, families gather, seniors stay active, veterans connect, swimmers train, neighbors meet, and this community becomes stronger together. 🏊‍♂️🏀🎨🤝💙

Now, as we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are investing in the future of this building, this mission, and everyone who walks through our doors.

The DACC has always belonged to the community — and its future depends on the community, too. ❤️

🎭✨ Movers & Makers Summer Camp is in full swing at the DACC — and this year, our campers are getting even MORE ways to move, make, imagine and grow! ☀️💙

One of the fun add-ons this summer is drama class with Miss Amber! 🎬👏 Our campers are getting active, using their imaginations, building confidence and having a blast together.

And there’s more ahead! Some of our older campers will also get the chance to learn lacrosse and tennis later this summer. 🥍🎾

Summer camp at the Danville Area Community Center means swimming, creating, playing, learning, laughing and trying new things — all in one busy, happy place. 🌊🎨🙌

🏊‍♀️💦 Swim lessons are underway...and coming up at the DACC — and there’s still room in most classes! 🎉

Yes, swimming is fun. Yes, the pool is awesome. Yes, kids LOVE it. 😎☀️

But this is also serious: learning to swim is one of the most important life skills a child can have. Drowning remains a real danger, and confidence in the water matters. 💙

Our DACC swim instructors help kids build skills, comfort and confidence — one splash at a time! 🌊👏

Too Much Solar Energy?! 😄☀️🏊‍♀️Hot day? No problem. DACC Camp knows how to beat the heat! 💦😎

Our Movers & Makers campers have been splashing, swimming, staying cool inside, and making the most of those shady outdoor spots when they do head into the sunshine. 🌳☀️

Today’s summer-camp energy included gaga pit action, tetherball fun, and even a drama class in the fitness room — where the kids watched an invisible mime. Yes, really. And yes, they were into it. 😂🎭🙌

And then came the PERFECT surprise: Pelican Snoballs! 🍧🎉

A huge THANK YOU to Pelican Snoballs for bringing the right treat at exactly the right time. Cold, colorful, delicious, and very much appreciated by a whole lot of happy campers! ❤️💙💛

And yes… that’s our hero, Tall Heather, helping redirect all that joyful summer-camp energy in the right direction. 😂🙌 Lots of laughs, lots of movement, lots of fun — and one very cool day at the DACC! 🏊‍♂️🍧☀️
