Master Swimming at Del Amigo - Register Now!

We are excited to announce that registration for Del Amigo Masters Swimming is now open!

Due to such interest for organized swimming, Del Amigo will now be offering a Masters Swim Program beginning on Sunday, December 11th at 8:30am.

After many years of keeping the pool open seasonally, Del Amigo is breaking tradition and will remain open year round for the foreseeable future.

Thank you for all of your enthusiasm to make this program happen. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to join, and both members and non-members are welcome. The purpose of this program is to provide a fun, organized, and exciting environment for a swim workout.

Del Swim Camp 2020 starts tomorrow (June 1)! So happy to get some registered campers in the pool even if only in this limited way. The Del Swim Team leadership put together a solid and safe program within County guidelines.

Reminder: At this time the County Public Health is allowing a limited kids swim camp with a number of guidelines we need to work within. The County is very clear that we can only open the gates for this YOUTH camp and its attendees and that we are prohibited from all other use including lap swim. 😢

We are very happy to take advantage of this new development. Our hope is that this initial baby step by the County will be followed by more baby steps and ultimately more use of the pool and facility. We are monitoring the County updates regularly and will quickly react to any further loosening of our constraints.

Hello Del Families:

At this time the County Public Health Department is still prohibiting us from opening the pool HOWEVER they have recently made one exception. The County will allow a limited kids swim camp with a number of guidelines we need to work within. The swim team leadership has worked hard to develop a camp offering starting June 1.

IMPORTANT: The County is very clear that we can only open the gates for this camp and its attendees and that we are prohibited from all other use including lap swim.

Hello Del Families -

We hope you are all safe and well. DAPA continues to follow all of the health and safety guidelines provided by the County, State and CDC. The safety of our swimmers and community is our priority. In light of the current stay-at-home order and as you'd expect, pool opening and the beginning of swim practices continue to be on hold until further notice.

In the meantime, the DAPA and DAST boards continue to prepare for our season so that whenever we are able to proceed, we will be ready.

Please stay safe and healthy as we hope for a near end to this crisis and dream of sunny days on deck at the pool.
