I don’t know whether y’all realize it or not, but we had the potential to be something really great. Since day 1, seeing the changes and growth of our team was mind blowing. Loved bringing in kids that never been on a cheerleading team or football team, and seeing them get better after each week. Being there for them, whether it was teaching them things outside of the game, life skills and lessons. Having something good to look forward to, not just them but me too. Having the few people in our corner that told us to keep going, because they seen the potential. Going into places recruiting kids that people often time look over, trying to give them a shot at something different. Actually forming a team with people who we knew would be great in these positions. Having fundraisers to try to raise the money for uniforms because i knew 1st hand how money is a problem for a lot of us. Sacrificing a lot for the better of the kids. It sucks not getting the support you know is out there. I know if we could’ve made it to dressing out, it was gone be over for a lot of these teams😂😂. Nobody wanna fight with the underdogs. That comeback gone be personal, cause I know the jits was gone come out swinging.
