The Danville Christian Academy Lady Warriors walked off the court Thursday night as “winners” regardless of the numbers on the scoreboard. When adversity came, these girls fought to the bitter end. Down 10 going into the 4th, they could’ve accepted defeat and just been happy to have made it. But they didn’t fold, they took a school 5 times their size to the brink, and simply ran out of time. If there was 2 or 3 minutes left I really think they would have completed the rally. Hold your heads high girls, you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. You gained the respect of a lot of people around the state that knew nothing about DCA before tonight. That’s something to hold on to and be proud of. Well Done Warriors!!! 💙💛
