If your record is going to be beaten, it's best done by a Kaizen teammate.

In 2022, Lacy Willoughby set the Kentucky Middle School Girls Pole Vault State Record with a jump of 10'8". This past Saturday, that record was surpassed by fellow Kaizen teammate Antigone Utz, who cleared 10'9" to become the new state record holder.

Records are made to be broken, but there's something special about seeing one hardworking athlete inspire the next. Lacy set the standard, and Antigone rose to meet it.

Congratulations to both of these incredible vaulters for their dedication, determination, and for continuing to raise the bar for Kentucky pole vaulting. We couldn't be prouder to have both of them represent the Kaizen family! 💚💛

What an amazing end for our Pole Vault athletes this season! We appreciate all the hard work put in by everyone, especially our seniors who in many cases now begin their next level of vaulting.
