Tonight is the night! Head out to Dan Daniel Memorial Park and support our community’s First Responders.

Home Run Derby, First Responders, discounted concessions, and supporting a great cause. There’s no better way to spend your Friday night!

Come out, enjoy the evening, and help us honor those who serve our community.

Tonight is the 4th Annual Bats & Badges Championship! 🚒🚓

This September 11th, our community will come together for an evening of friendly competition while honoring the service and sacrifice of first responders, both here at home and across the country.

Join us at American Legion Field (home of the Danville Otterbots)at Dan Daniel Memorial Park. Gates open at 5 PM, and tickets will be available at the gate. Please note that God’s Storehouse no longer has tickets available in-store.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle, Bats & Badges T-shirts, and concessions available throughout the evening!

We know the forecast is calling for the possibility of storms, but as of right now, the game is on, and every effort will be made to play tonight. A short delay may be necessary depending on the weather, and any cancellation decision would be based largely on field conditions. We’ll share updates if anything changes.

🍼 August is National Breastfeeding Month, and we're celebrating a milestone season at Dan Daniel Memorial Park.

This year, the Otterbots partnered with Virginia Rural Health Association and Danville MI PLAN to open the Milk Barn, Danville's first dedicated Mothers' Room at a public venue.

We saw over 300 users of the Milk Barn, some new and some returning!

But the real impact is in the stories. We've heard from moms who finally have a private, comfortable place to nurse, pump, or change their kids, and a cool spot to escape the heat with their little ones during the game.

That's what community baseball is about. Thank you to VRHA and Danville MIPLAN for helping us bring this space to life.
