Some dads teach you how to ride a bike… mine teaches me how to chase checkered flags. 🏁❤️

Happy Father’s Day to the guy who’s always in my corner, in the pits, and cheering me on every lap of the way. Thanks for being the best crew chief, role model, and dad anyone could ask for.

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to participate in the San Leandro Saturday Cruise-In & Show & Shine, hosted by Auto Body Express. It was an incredible day filled with amazing cars, great people, and an even greater purpose.

Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone involved, we were able to raise $762 for our cause benefiting Alzheimer's research and awareness through the "Do What You Love to End Alzheimer's" program.

We're grateful to everyone who stopped by, donated, shared stories, and helped make this event such a success. Events like these remind us how powerful our community can be when we come together around something we're passionate about.

Thank you, Shane Leasure , Auto Body Express, and everyone who helped support the fight against Alzheimer's. We can't wait for the next one! 💜🏁

Mattix Salmon Memorial Recap💙

What a rollercoaster of a weekend. Friday night started with a hard flip in the B-Main that left my Micro heavily damaged and had us questioning whether we'd even make it back out for the second day. After wrecking nearly every corner of the car, it took a tremendous effort from my crew, friends, and fellow racers to get everything patched together and race-ready again. We spent Friday night and Saturday morning turning wrenches, making repairs, and doing everything possible to give ourselves another shot at racing. Thanks to that effort, I was able to get back behind the wheel on Saturday and compete again instead of loading up and heading home.

On Saturday, I put together a solid run and transferred straight into the A-Main, starting 12th overall and 7th among the cars that had to race their way in that day. Things were going well, and I worked my way up to 10th before some lingering damage from Friday's flip started causing issues. I spun once and recovered, but with just two laps remaining, I spun again. Even though I managed to save it with a 360 and keep moving, the caution came out, and I was forced to park it in the infield, ultimately being scored 19th out of 20.
The result wasn't what we were hoping for, but this weekend was a huge learning experience.

A huge thank you to Bell Family Racing , Ryan Racing 23 , Kenny Priaro and the KPR Crew, and Jeffrey Smith and the Racing crew for all the help in the pits and for putting in the work to rebuild my car and get me back on track.

I also want to thank XCGear for their Monkey Bar System. After destroying just about every corner of my car in Friday's flip, my neck and back felt great, and I know their safety equipment played a major role in that. Thank you as well to Midwest Suspension Co. for both my seat insert that kept me safe on Friday and the suspension package that helped me perform on Saturday.

While the finishing position doesn't tell the whole story, this weekend was about overcoming adversity, gaining valuable experience, and proving that this team doesn't quit when things get tough. We learned a lot, earned our first paycheck, and we're already looking forward to the next opportunity to hit the track. 🏁

🏁 Club Race One at Delta Speedway 🏁

A brand-new chapter began this weekend as Benji climbed into his new restricted micro sprint and turned his first laps at Delta Speedway. It was more than just a race, it was the start of a new journey filled with emotion, growth, and memories we’ll hold onto long after the checkered flag. 💙

Club Race 1 Results
Qualified: 17th out of 19
• Heat: Started 6th → Finished 6th
• Main: Started 18th → Finished 11th

Proud is an understatement. Each lap was about learning, gaining confidence, and building a strong foundation in this new chapter.

It made the weekend even more special kicking off this new adventure alongside drivers we once raced quarter midgets with seeing familiar faces in a new class reminds us how far these kids have all come.

Thank you to the Buchanan family for being trackside as we kicked off this new adventure — your support helped make the first laps even more memorable. 🏁

Huge thank you to Bell Family Racing, and to Andrew and Jeff Smith for the crew support and driver encouragement, it truly makes a difference.

A very special thank-you to Ryan Racing 23. Your belief, mentorship, and friendship are a gift beyond words. #237

New Year. New Ride. Let’s Go.

2026 brings a whole new level: I’m stepping into a Micro Sprint and hitting the tracks across California for an action-packed season. 🏁

This journey isn’t possible alone. I’m looking for businesses AND individuals who want to be part of the ride. Whether it’s a full partnership or simple support, every dollar helps keep me on the track chasing this dream.

💥 Ways to be part of the team:
• Business sponsorships (logo on car, social media, gear)
• Individual support- no amount is too small
• Help fuel a full season of racing, growth, and giving back

We’re also proud to continue racing for a cause, supporting Alzheimer’s & Dementia awareness along the way. ❤️

📩 Want to join the journey? Message me — I’d love to connect.

Let’s make this season unforgettable. 🔥🏎️💨

Happy Birthday to my crew chief and my dad.
There aren’t enough words to thank you for everything you are to me. You’ve taught me how to work hard, stay humble, and never quit, on the track and in life. From the late nights in the shop to the moments when I needed you most, you’ve always been my constant and my biggest believer. Every lap I take means more because you’re right there with me. I’m beyond grateful to chase this dream with you and even more grateful to call you my dad. I love you more than words can say. 💙🏁🎂
