One of the things I love most about baseball photography is that, most of the time, you can use the stadium to your advantage to capture different angles.
This is a perfect example of what I mean. Last Saturday, the Otterbots played in Burlington, NC against the Sock Puppets, and their press box is on top of the grandstands, meaning I could climb up and shoot from above. They have a small section next to their press box where I can set up comfortably to shoot.
As a reference, the first photo is the location of where I shot from a previous game last season and the other photos are the results that I got from Saturday.
Using a venue’s unique structure/layout can definitely change up one’s photography, and want others (especially my fellow sports photographers) to see what they can accomplish!
Hope you all enjoy the work!
