“I have been doing semi-private and private training with Katie for 7 months. Katie consistently programs a challenging but fun workout that has kept me progressing in weight and abilities. She listens to feedback regarding what you want to work on, moves you like or do not like, and makes a point to incorporate or remove things as needed. She always has you try new things and challenges you without making you feel like you’re being pushed too hard. One of the best things about her is she truly believes it is your workout. If you’re having an off/harder day, she will help you modify so that you can get in a good workout but not overdo it or feel unsuccessful. However, she will also push you do to your best (lift more, do more reps) and encourage/help you do more than you thought possible. I have seen huge gains and am so proud of the work we have done together. Katie is also very patient, taking the time to explain the moves but also why you would do the workout, what muscles it is working, and how to improve the moves once you are doing them. She makes a point to demonstrate (even if you need it multiple times!) and to help correct small things to make sure you are lifting safely and productively. I always feel comfortable asking questions and asking for demos if I am unfamiliar with a move. In addition, she’s fun to be around so our workouts always fly by and I always look forward to going to them. Even when it’s late, dark, and snowing, I know that I am going come out having had a good time and feeling accomplished. Katie has really helped me with feeling more confident and good about my abilities! The studio is also fantastic, they have fun classes for holidays and other group classes that are well programmed and can be adjusted for all abilities. I have not met an unkind or unfriendly person there!” -MG
