Day 300. 37 lbs 8 oz.
The clinical research on progressive overload and muscle growth recommends increasing about 2.5 pounds per week — that’s around 5½ ounces a day. I’ve taken that idea and made it even more precise - just 2 ounces per day.
Every one of these little 2-ounce weights is 3D printed and filled with steel shot S70, which is basically steel sand. I've even added threaded inserts so you can keep stacking weight without removing any of the others.
A finished column equals 1 pound, and a row equals 2 pounds — so you can literally see your progress.
Today is Day 300 of my challenge, adding 2 ounces every single day and showing that progress by bicep curling.
