Kayaking, Camping, Canoeing and Excellent Times! Two sections to choose from, our "Mild and Scenic" UPPER section or the "Wet and Wild" LOWER section. Something for everyone. The BRO uses the best designed kayaks and canoes suited for beginner LOWER whitewater and easy to use for beginner on the scenic UPPER section. The UPPER is 6 miles of moving water sprinkled with small shoals through a hard wood valley. Wildflowers and wild life plentiful through this peaceful valley. Our LOWER section contains many shoals four of which contain Class II named rapids. AS the river is broad, different routes through the shoals are available allowing one to choose the degree of difficulty and variety. With over 40 years experience, our knowledgeable and friendly staff will insure a great experience on the Broad River while enjoying the river and the surrounding natural setting.
