Waunakee Gun Club

A big thanks to that attended the Wisconsin State AFS Championship this past weekend at Waunakee! Congratulations to Cy Quaintance on another State Championship this year. The rain held off and a good overall weekend in comparison to what could have been on Saturday from some of the forecasts. We appreciate those that rolled the dice on Saturday and got good weather and stayed mostly dry.

Huge thanks to Steve Kohlman, Al Helt, and Scott Laufenberg on help with setup on Friday and tear down on Sunday. Cora for helping with registration. Our Refs: Holly Wright, Ike Eichers, Jim Olson, Kaydee Dolan, and Todd Stormer. And we cannot forget David Meyer for the great pork sandwiches for lunch.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone next year for our registered AFS, FITASC, and our Super Sporting South Zone Shoot.

Big thanks to all who came out for the Bud Frank memorial shoot today!!!

We have an amazing course set for the week. Super sporting true pairs! 8 stations, 25 true pair, zero repeat shots. It will be a great week to bring a newbie out or try for a perfect 50. We are open tomorrow (Sunday) 10-3 and Wed & Thurs 3-dusk. Come on out and make some black smoke. You need not be a member to shoot & we sell shells at the club.
Thank you for your attention to this matter😁

Thanks all that came and shot our July AFS on Saturday! Smoke cleared out and we had a nice (but warm) day. State AFS is 9/19 and 9/20. Registration won't open up for a few weeks while as we determine the final rotations and number of layouts.
