Thanks to everyone involved in putting together today's Bethel Night to celebrate 50 years of Bethel High School hockey. Also thanks to 1st Selectman Matt Knickerbocker and State Representative Raghib Allie-Brennan for their proclamations from the town and state, as well as dropping the first pucks.

Great win tonight for the Icecats 3-0 over Shepaug. Louie had his first career shutout. Justin scored his first varsity goal. And goals from Kyle and Tyler to raise the record to 2-6-2 with games on Friday and Saturday coming up at DIA.

Congratulations to the Icecats for their first win of the season last night against Masuk, a tight 4-3 thriller that wasn't over until Louie made some great saves to close it out.
