Social sunset this Saturday, 8/29!

Sunset is at 7:57pm, meet up at least an hour beforehand for some neighborly socializing.

Come admire lovely “Cape Ham” emerging off the shores Dale and Kris’ place. (Not quite Cape Cod but  definitely closer and cheaper.) Look for the friendly cluster of boats.

I'm reposting this message from Cam Ingberg that has been posted on our private page for a while. If you are interested in placing an order, do it by the end of the weekend.

From Cam:
I'm taking on apparel this year - and I'm pleased to showcase our revised logos & an apparel order form for 2026 (email went out to the association list this morning).
Primary & secondary logos are showcased here - along with options for order (submit via Google Forms link by August 3rd)
After the 3rd, I will submit (via email) a final list of orders by family - and will request payment at that time. Targeted timeline will be for apparel to be available for pickup Labor Day Weekend - reach out with any questions!

Ham it up with your neighbors this Saturday at our next social sunset. Sundown is 8:46 PM, get out there to the northwest corner of the lake about an hour early to link up your boats, pontoons, dinghies, or paddle boats. Hope to see you there!

Happy 250th / 4th of July Everyone!

We had 7 boats out there for the boat parade plus 52 people / 16 cabins participating in the fishing contest. Oh, and one serving up treats for the parade goers 🙂

BOATING SAFETY REMINDER FOR THIS WEEKEND

PLEASE SHARE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS

The lake will be at its busiest this 4th-of-July weekend. To ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time on Ham Lake, please follow these guidelines and laws (*).

1) ANCHORING / SWIMMING - If you are planning to anchor and/or swim, please stick to the shorelines or towards the entrance to Sieben Bay on the northeast side of the lake. This makes it safe for tubing, skiing and PWCs to take place in the center of the lake.

2) AFTER SUNSET (9:04PM) - Turn on your boat lights (or even before the sun goes down)*

3) OPERATING PWCs (e.g. JetSkis) AFTER SUNSET IS ILLEGAL. Also, they must be operating SLOW, NO-WAKE SPEED WITHIN 200 FEET from the shore.*

4) TUBING / SKIING - Stick to the center of the lake, away from the swimmers. You cannot pull a skier or tuber after sunset *.

Note: There will be more boats out there on July 4th between 7-10am for a fishing contest and at 3pm for the boat parade. If you can plan around it, it would be thoughtful not to be ripping around our small lake during those times :)

I hope everyone has loaded up on their decorations for this year's July 4th parade. Boats are to line up in front of Karey and Dan Strandquist's place on the southwest side of the lake. Kicking off the parade at 3pm.

No boat? No decorations? No problem! Be sure to head down to the dock and cheer on your neighbors.
