In a 2-1 week for Westconn Men’s Soccer, goalkeeper Aime Ruggles protected the net in the shutout of Castleton to earn Little East Conference Rookie of the Week. Enzo LaGrassa-Gillet aided in the defense across all three games for LEC Defensive Player of the Week!

𝐖𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 🐺

Junior LB Jordan Tyler gave Westconn Football a 21-3 lead over William Paterson with a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown midway through the third frame. He also boasted 5 solo tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in the 27-17 season opening win.

Shannon Anderson recorded two goals and one assist to lead WestConn Womens Soccer to an unbeaten 2-0-2 start. The junior forward opened the campaign with a three-point performance with a goal and an assist on the eventual game-winner. Anderson struck again for the lone goal in the shutout over St. Joseph’s (LI)
