Thank you for all the wonderful comments and memories. Because we won't be registering deer and turkey, our store hours will stay the same throughout the year. As always if you call before closing and need us to stay, we will be happy to. (as long as you're going to show)
If any questions please feel free to contact us.

I would like to thank everyone for supporting our store for the last 39 years and with quite a bit of sadness, have decided to semi retire from regular operations. As a few might know, I have had some health issues for a number of years and although I'm doing well, I would like to enjoy some of the sports that I strive for others to participate in. I will be 67 years old this year, and last year enjoyed some fishing and hunting with some good friends. My wife and I have actually enjoyed some quality time together on a few vacations and weekends. We will be taking a trip out to Missouri this fall together and are looking forward to possibly getting a nice buck for myself and her getting some good pictures. In light of this I will be spending more time on the water and in the woods.
If I closed the shop, I'd still be down here almost every day doing my PT and Chuck has his gaming he does as well as You Tube. My FFL does not expire until 2029 and we still have the fill station on the property, so if we are here, we might as well as do some part time sales. Inventory will be limited to certain items as well as the shop closing for vacations and time off and we would inform everyone on our page when we would be closed. The shop will be open for propane, some special orders for guns, ammo, etc. I will be backing out of the Archery tech. as well as bow and crossbow sales because of issues that don't allow me to set up and shoot bows as in the past.
Now with great sorrow and the first that I have mentioned anywhere, this past spring turkey season was our last season as a registration station for deer and turkey. We will put the scales up at deer season for anyone wishing to find out the weight of their deer or bear and will help if we are here. The directions of how much weight to deduct for the platform will be posted regularly and in the past several years, it has been 65 pounds.
So for the next several years as long as I'm feeling healthy, Store Hours are as follows and are on the door at the shop and in the window and again we will also keep everyone posted on our page any time we have things up and coming that prevent us from not being here.
Monday thru Friday 2:30pm-5pm
Saturday 8:00am-4pm
Sunday 9:00am-4pm
Again thank you for all the decades of friendships, fun and support.
Sincerely,
Bob, Lisa, Turd, and Monster
