Danbury Cross Country Update! Below is our first week of school schedule.

🚨 Danbury Community: Please keep an eye out for our runners from 5:30–6:30 AM as they begin running routes around town. They’ll be easy to spot in BRIGHT yellow shirts and reflective vests! Please slow down, give them plenty of room, and help us keep our Panthers safe! 🦺💛

It’s not too late to join us! If your athlete is interested in Cross Country, come be part of the Panther XC family!

The first official High School Cross Country practice is Monday, August 3rd from 7:00–7:45 a.m. at the track.

Junior High’s first official practice begins Wednesday, August 12th.

📅 Starting August 12th:
⏰ High School & Junior High practices will be Monday–Thursday, 5:30–6:30 a.m. JH will get to leave early for volleyball or football practices.

It’s not too late to join the team! Whether you’re an experienced runner or trying cross country for the first time, we’d love to have you. Week 3 of Open Track is complete! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We finished the week with a fun water balloon fight to cool off after our run. It was a great way to celebrate another week of hard work!

I’m proud of the dedication these athletes are showing by consistently showing up, putting in the work, and getting better every day. Keep building those miles—the season will be here before we know it! 💛🖤

Congratulations to the top 4 finishers at the Danbury 4th of July 5K! We love seeing both our current and former Danbury Cross Country runners representing our program and community so well.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Open Track Begins Tomorrow!

High School Cross Country runners are highly encouraged to join us for Open Track beginning tomorrow!

📅 Monday–Thursday
⏰ 7:15 AM – 8:00 AM
📍 Danbury Track (Elementary parking lot side)

If you’re interested in running cross country this fall, we’d love to have you come out and join us as we get some miles in together before Strength & Conditioning.

Junior High athletes will not begin official cross country practices until school starts. However, the track will be open during this time, and junior high students are welcome to come get their run in on their own.

Please bring water, wear running attire and running shoes, and be ready to have a great time!
