Basics of Marine Radio

The VHF radio is one of the most important safety devices you have on a boat especially when you are in an emergency situation. This class will teach you how to operate a radio, may mayday calls, contact other vessels, get Coast Guard updates, use the DSC “red button”, as well as other electronic aids to boating.
