Grand National Rodeo Drill Team Competition & Color Guard

After careful consideration and taking in the feedback we had from the last competition. We had complaints about the size of the arena and lack of warm up, that is not going to change. Plus, stalling is very limited. So, taking in all the changes that have happened at the Grand National we have decided at this time it's just not conducive to have a competition there. I'm sorry to say maybe someday in the future but right now it's just not going to work. Thank you to all the teams that competed at the Grand National Rodeo Drill Team Competition, I hope you all have as many fond memories as I do. Until we meet again may the sunshine softly on your face and the wind push gently at your back and may your horse find an easy path to follow.

Just to soften the not having a competition 2024 there will be a 2025 GNR Drill team competition .. so start planning teams!

Just to let teams know we have decided NOT to have a 2024 Drill team competition. We are looking into the possibility of having it every other year if there is enough interest ..Good luck to all the teams out there .

Whew and that's a wrap .. first off, a big thank you to the Cow Palace, a huge thank you to Allison Keaney, and all the Cow Palace staff you all are amazing, thank you for bringing back the Grand National Rodeo Drill Team competition. A shout out To Flying U Rodeo, and last but not least to our sponsors, Brock Transportation, American Asphalt, and Western Saddlery and private sponsor THANK YOU THANK YOU, To the teams that came out and supported not only the competition but the First ever Women of Rodeo week two of the Grand National Rodeo we thank you.
